After Hawaii, his family moved to Florida and then on to Virginia Beach, VA, where he was able to plant some roots and spend most of his youth. It was in these years that he grew to love the water and life on the ocean. Along with the beach lifestyle and all it had to offer, he gained a passion for sports and the love for baseball. He decided to pursue a baseball career at a small school in central Virginia called Longwood University and graduated with a degree in Business Management in 1995.

Finally in 1997, he desired a change and decided to pursue his lifelong dream to move to the high country of Vail, Colorado. Once here he gained a love for the outdoors through backpacking, camping, and snowboarding.   Growing up in a family full of carpenters and craftsmen, he felt that construction was in his blood. He started out as a log craftsman building log homes and learning the industry from the bottom up. From there he moved on to interior finish carpentry. He has spent the last 20 years running his own company building custom homes and general contracting here in the Vail Valley. Finally, in pursuit of taking his career to the next level, he knew it was time to take his skills and knowledge and move into the management side. He is now the newest arrival to Scott S.
